Conversation Partner: Do-jun Kim
Date/Time: Sunday 16 August 2015, 9:00-10:00 am
After a couple weeks of exchanging emails and missing
appointments Do-jun and I finally managed to connect via skype. To accommodate
for the time difference between South Korea and Florida (South Korea is 11
hours ahead), we agreed to meet on Sunday morning at 9am (Florida time). I’ve
been having internet issues so I walked to Landis so I could connect with Florida State University WiFi. We made the general introductions and just
started talking. Do-jun told me about his job at one of the major airports in
Seoul. He helps to coordinate flight plans to other domestic airports in South
Korea and several major airports in South East Asia, especially in China and
Japan. I told him about my school life and how I spent my time. After a little
bit I checked in with Do-jun to make sure that our conversation was following
his expectations. The conversation went really well and we scheduled our next
chat for later that week.
