KellyMichael - TS#6

I met with Sang Hyun from South Korea. This was our second session. Sang is very nice person, and I enjoy speaking with him. After a we said our greetings, I had a topic to discuss. Sang played ice hockey in South Korea, and his mother was a Olympic figure skater. Doing some research I found that the winter Olympics are being held in South Korea in 2018, and I thought it would be a good subject to discuss. Sang really wants to improve his speaking english, so while we talk I often correct him after he is done speaking, then I write the word or grammar point down so he will have an example to look at later on. At the end of the session Sang had a nice vocab list and couple grammar lessons. One thing I can see about teaching adults is they are going to want to know "Why?" in most circumstances. When you aren't prepared for that question it can throw you. I've learned, always always always prepare for the "Why?" question. Sang and I discussed religion for a bit at the end of the session and it was surprising to me most of Korea's citizens are Buddhist.  This was another solid session of good lessons with Sang. I'm looking forward to our next meeting.
