KellyMichael - CP#3

This was my second meeting with Boram Kang from South Korea. Boram is very enjoyable to speak with and is rarely difficult to understand. She has a firm grip on English and it's become difficult picking out problems with her speech. When she does make a mistake she is eager to learn why she made the mistake and how to not make it again. We began the session with a discussion of my 5yr old child tuttee. The last session with 5yr old made me really frustrated and disappointed. Boram is a mother as well as a teacher, her child and my tuttee are in the same class. She gave me some really good advice on what I can do in order to keep this child engaged in the lesson. We went on to talk about the misconceptions other countries have for our respective home countries. Many things we discussed were revelations to me about places I have a chance to go to. It made me very excited about the traveling aspect of the job. Boram is a genuine pleasure to talk to, and I look forward to our next session.
