Andrea TS #5

This is the third tutoring session with Hye-jeong. Today Hye-jeong was much more focused. We started the session by doing her English homework, and she did it in just a few minutes. It's clear that she's a bright little girl and she catches on to things very quickly. Her homework involved punctuation, so I took the opportunity to talk about the topic more. We did a worksheet about ending punctuation so she could practice what she had done in the homework. Then we read another section of Annabelle In The Soup. I tried to check her comprehension by having her draw important things from the book. After that, she wanted to read to me. She had brought a book that she had read in Korean, and she was very excited about sharing it with me. We didn't get to finish the book, but it was lovely seeing her so excited about showing off her skills. At the end, she gave me a Korean cookie, which I found adorable. She's clearly opening up more towards me. She's much more animated than she was at our first session.
