On Saturday, September 19th, I met up with Hye Jeong and Hyein at books-a-million. When I arrived, we briefly discussed how their week at school went and how their weekend was going. They exclaimed that they came to the library from a lunch party, so they were both very worn out and tired. The girls chose several different books and I read to them as they followed along. After about 30 minutes they started to gain some energy. Then we each took turns reading different books while following along with one another. They asked me a few vocabulary questions, while reading, and I defined the words for them. They only make a few beautiful mistakes when reading, but once they are corrected, they acquire the correction immediately! I enjoy tutoring the two sisters and I am excited about helping them advance in the English language.
