KellyMichael - CP#2

My second conversation partner is a young woman from South Korea named Boram. Boram is also a TEFL student, so I was looking forward to meeting with her. She has a very good grasp on the English language and really just needs to talk as much as possible in order to practice this skill. We met in the CIES/TEFL building and talked about a variety of subjects. What I really enjoyed about speaking with Boram is the fact she discussed some politics with regards to her home country. We talked about how we thought the TEFL course was going, and why we both decided to try it. Boram and I also talked about our families and some of my other tutees who are from South Korea. I really enjoyed our conversation. I found Boram very nice and easy to talk to. It's also nice to have something in common with your conversation partner (TEFL), that gives you a basis to work from.
