This past week I had the chance to meet with Youngseo again. In preparation for our tutoring session, I brought along a word search worksheet and a matching worksheet. I remembered that Youngseo said she liked word searches so I figured bringing one in that has to deal with words related to Fall would be a good idea. After we completed the worksheets, we finished her homework. Once we completed the homework, I read through ""Very Little Red Riding Hood" with her. Since I've become more comfortable working with children, it was easy to act out the characters in the book. Youngseo really enjoyed that and then began to join in with me. After we finished reading through the book, I had Youngseo draw a picture from the book and label the different items on the picture. This is usually one of her more favorite parts of the session since she wants to be an illustrator in the future. I did a better job of making good use of my time! Hopefully I can continue that into next week!
