Matthew CP #2

Aviv and I met September 7th from 2-3PM. We got coffee together and talked more about traveling to other countries. We talked about the TEFL class and how much we were learning every week. After that, I talked to him about my high school activities that I was involved in. I discussed cross country and track. This led us to talking about hiking, which reminded him of the difficult work he had to do some days in the military. He said he would have to carry extremely heavy packs and weight long distances as training. He said the training was very intense. We then moved on to talk about how nice it was that we had labor day off. The conversation was very relaxed. He talked about how much he enjoyed Tallahassee. His perspective on political views was very refreshing, since I come from a pretty isolated background of strictly living in the United States. I am looking forward to talking to him again this week.
