Justin TS#8

On Wednesday 10/07 I met with Astin. It's been a while since we met back in the library. This time we met at his house which was a setting that I think was more comfortable for him. Since he is so young we have trouble focusing on one topic for a long time. We started our lesson by drawing some letters and understanding the alphabet. We also worked on a couple numbers. Astin has this instinct to write things backwards. I'm not sure why this is but I'm going to try and help him stop this. Then we switched topics and started reading books. Astin tends to really enjoy reading about animal since he knows a lot about them. We also read about interesting facts around the world in one of his books. For the next time we might I'm thinking about finding books that I can bring to see what else I can use to interest him. I thought about watching american cartoons too which might entertain him but I'm not sure if his mother would allow this.
