This lesson we returned to conditional phrases, specifically
looking at the first conditional form. After a quick review of the zero
conditional form, we began to work on the first conditional and fill in the
blanks from where we left off last week. Instead of trying to cover the rest of
the conditional forms in this lesson I concentrated on the first conditional
form. I made sure that Do-jun totally understood the zero and first conditional
forms before we tried to moved on. As with last week, Do-jun struggled with the
first conditional and asked several times for clarification. I doubled back
when needed to check his understanding. Next session we will be continuing with
the conditional forms, specifically the second and third forms. Sometimes it is
very hard to know what will take more than an hour to cover in a tutoring
session. So I prefer to over plan for a lesson and cut out material if I need
to.
