Andrea TS#12

This was my third tutoring session with Luna. I had prepared some notes about grammar topics that Luna wanted to practice further. We reviewed pronouns and adjectives, which was the topic we had practiced in our second session. She still seems to have difficulty remembering reflexive pronouns, so I found some online quizzes to help her practice. After we did grammar, Luna asked if we could just talk so that she could practice her pronunciation. We discussed her daughter and her life back in Colombia. The session was like a blend of tutoring and conversation partners. I really admire Luna because she is incredibly smart, and she is a lawyer back in Colombia. She's very brave and driven, but she feels herself starting to lose interest in English classes. I recommended she try to find some law classes to shadow, so that she could start to learn more about English law vocabulary. I think that could help her regain that passion and interest in English since law is her profession.
