Hannah TS #12

This past Friday I got the chance to meet with Keunhwa at Leon Collins library. One of the first things we talked about was our lesson that we taught to the class. We tried to email each other our videos but the video files were too large so I'll have to share those with her next time. After we talked about our presentation and lesson, Keunhwa and I had a discussion on plagiarism and how it is perceived in Korea and America. I told her about how it is considered a big deal here and students could receive zeros on their homework and could possibly fail to receive credit in a class. I also showed her the site turnitin.com. This website is really popular with teachers here in the United States but it seems that Korea doesn't have a website like that. After that she showed me a paragraph in her textbook that talked about plagiarism and asked me if i could spot plagiarism and if i could explain why it was plagiarized.
