Hannah CO #3

After the reading class, I had the opportunity to observe a speaking class. I observed another intermediate class. This class was around the same size as the previous class. I really like how the Instructor did attendance. Instead of her taking attendance, she called one student and then asked them "Is ____ here?". I though that was interesting. It helps the students get to know each other. Today in class, the students had to do presentations about another. The students had a five minute cap on their speech and were instructed to create a powerpoint. The powerpoint would contain information such as who they interviewed, what their hobbies are, where they are from, and their future goals. As the students presented their powerpoints, the instructor would write down errors related to pronunciation and grammar. After all of the students presented, she would pass back the corrections along with a grade.
