After me and Neila's first session of tutoring, we continued for a second hour. We decided that I needed to practice my writing skills. We discussed several different ways to help improve my writing and came to the conclusion that a speed writing lesson would be helpful for me. Neila suggested different topics and then asked me about experiences I've had in Israel. I told her about my army service and immediately we both knew it was a good subject for me to write about. For 15 minutes, I wrote about my experience in the Gaza Strip, without pausing to correct my spelling errors. Afterwards, Neila read my writing and wrote down different suggestions for me to edit my writing. I will edit my work for out next tutoring session. I'm excited about improving my writing skills!
